Credit, and debt are more designed for spontaneity ...and actually depend upon it to thrive.

Planning, saving, and looking forward to something has its merit ...and in most cases is recommended and can be labeled responsible.

Yet, if it takes on an extreme nature, it could go against what Jesus taught us to: "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal ..."

Yes, doing things on impulse can be fun and exciting ...yet, there should be a balance.  Excessiveness is usually just that ...full of excess.

Planning is usually good, yet, there are committees that bog down what needs to be addressed immediately.

Yet, again ...we have to be able to discern what is viewed as immediate and urgent to us, and what God would have us do first and put as our primary responsibilities.
